RU student found hanging

A student of Rajshahi University was found hanging in their house in Patuakhali district town early Saturday.

Deceased Debjyoti Bosak Partho was the second year student of Anthropology department.

Partho's friend Shuva said family members saw Partho hanging in his room around 5:30am.

They rushed him to Patuakhali Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead, Shuva added.

RU Anthropology dept chairman prf Bakhtiar Ahmed expressed his deep shock and sorrow over the death of Partho.

He urged all students to consult with their respective teachers if they are in any depression.
