Bihari Potti fire brought under control

The fire that broke out at Bihari Potti in Mohammadpur area of capital Dhaka has been brought under control after around one and a half hour's frantic efforts.

The fire fighters of 10 units doused the blaze around 5:50pm, said Shahzadi Sultana, officer in-charge of the Fire Service and Civil Defense headquarters.

Earlier about 4:15pm on Tuesday, a massive fire broke out at Bihari Potti on Babor Road, Shahzadi said.

The official added that the cause of the fire could not be learned immediately and no casualties were reported.
