5 fake DB men held in capital

Five fake officials of Detective Branch (DB) of police were arrested with firearms from Dhaka.

The SWAT team of DMP’s Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime Unit arrested the fake DB officials.

Confirming the matter, DMP Deputy Commissioner Masudur Rahman said details regarding the matter will be disclosed in a press briefing to be held at DMP Media Centre around 11:30am on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the SWAT team also recovered a pistol, revolver and some local weapons from their possession.
