2 men killed in Jamalpur clash

A fierce clash between two groups of villagers left two people dead at Goalgaon village in Bakshiganj upazila in Jamalpur on Friday.

The clash ensued between the supporters of Mondol Miah, 50, and Mosharraf Hossain, 60, on Thursday night following an altercation among their grandchildren, leaving both Mondol and Mosharraf injured, said Officer-in-charge of Bakshiganj police station Aslam Hossain, reports United News of Bangladesh.

The injured were admitted to upazila health complex and then shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. They succumbed to their injuries on way to Dhaka at 9am.
