HSTU bus kills student at campus

A university student was killed in a road accident in Dinajpur on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Moniruzzaman, a second semester student of Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science & Technology University (HSTU) hailing from Chirirbandar upazila of the district.

Sources said the Moniruzzaman was crushed under the wheels of a campus bus while he was trying to get into a university bus but slipped around 3.30pm, leaving died on the spot.

Mominul Islam, Public Relations officer of HSTU confirmed the incident.

The body was sent to Dinajpur Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
