Rifat murder: Verdict against 14 underage accused on Oct 27

A Barguna court has fixed October 27 to deliver the verdict against 14 underage accused in the sensational Rifat Sharif murder case.
Judge Md Hafizur Rahman of the Barguna District Children’s Court set the date of the verdict on Wednesday.
The 14 underage accused are M Rashidul Hasan Rishan Farazi, M Rakibul Hasan Rifat Hawladar, M Abu Abdullah Raihan, M Waliullah Oli, Joy Chandra Sarkar Chandan, M Naim, M Tanvir Hossain, Nazmul Hasan, Rakibul Hasan Niyamat, M Sayeed Maruf Billah Mahibullah, Maruf Mallick, Prince Mollah, Ratul Sikder Joy and Aryan Hossain Shraban.
Earlier on September 30, a Barguna court sentenced six adult accused, including Rifat’s wife Aysha Siddika Minni, to death in the sensational murder case.
Rifat Sharif was hacked to death in front of Barguna Government College in broad daylight on June 26 last year. His wife Minni was present on the spot when the incident took place.
