Two additional attorney generals step down

Two additional attorney generals- Murad Reza and Md Momtaz Uddin Fakir- have resigned showing personal reasons.

They both submitted their resignation letter to the solicitor office on Sunday.

Earlier on October 8, the government appointed Supreme Court Bar Association president AM Amin Uddin as the 16th attorney general.

The 15th and country's longest attorney general, Mahbubey Alam, died from coronavirus on September 27.
