AM Amin Uddin becomes 16th attorney general
The government has appointed senior lawyer AM Amin Uddin as attorney general.
The Supreme Court Bar Association President, Amin Uddin, became the country's 16th attorney general.
Dr Md Rezaul Karim, public relations officer of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry, confirmed this.
He said President M Abdul Hamid appointed AM Amin Uddin as the attorney general.
Earlier on September 27, the 15th attorney general, Mahbubey Alam, died of COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.
