UNO Wahida discharged from hospital
Ghoraghat UNO Wahida Khanam, who was critically injured in an attack, was discharged from the National Institute of National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospital (NINH) on Thursday after almost a month of treatment.
Neurosurgeon of the hospital Mohammad Jahed Hossen confirmed the matter to Jago News.
She was sent to Centre for the Rehabilitation of the Paralysed (CRP) in Mirpur for therapy, he added.
An attacker injured Wahida Khanam and her father Omar Ali at her official residence on the night of Sept 2.
She was initially rushed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital and later shifted to NINH where she underwent a surgery on Sept 3.
Wahida was officially transferred to Dhaka on Sept 19 for the ease of her treatment. She was made a special officer-in-charge at the Ministry of Public Administration.
