3 workers killed in balcony collapse in Dhanmondi

Three workers were killed as a balcony of an under-construction building collapsed on them at Dhanmondi 32 in the capital on Monday.
Two of the deceased were identified as Shafiqul, 22 and Insan, 22, hailing from Chapainawabganj.
Confirming the matter to Jago News, Abdul Latif, officer-in-charge of Dhanmondi Police Station, said: “The incident took place around 11am when the workers were working in the building. One died on the spot and two were sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital where the doctors declared them.”
