3 dacoits lynched in Jessore

Three dacoits have been beaten to death by an angry mob at Katakal area of Jhikargacha upazila in Jessore in the early hours of Wednesday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Officer-in-charge of Jhikargacha Police Station Molla Khabir Ahmed said, a gang of dacoits went to Krisnonagar village to commit robbery. Sensing presence of them, locals caught three dacoits after chasing them. Later three dacoits were lynched by an angry mob.

Hearing the news police rushed to the spot and has started the process to send dead bodies to hospital morgue, he added.
