Youth hacked dead in Rajshahi

A youth was hacked to death by unidentified miscreants at Chandipur area in Rajshahi early Tuesday.

The deceased Ahsan Habib Apel, 30, son of late Bakul of the village Chandipur under Rajpara Thana.

The victim’s mother Sukhi Begum said, there was a feud between her son and neighbor Giaus and his son Arif.

She suspected that, Giaus and his son killed her son who used to work at a pharmacy at Laximpur in Rajshahi.

In this connection, Officer-in-charge of Rajpara Police Station Mahmudur Rahman said, being informed a team of police were sent to the spot. After the incident Giaus and his family members were remained runaway, he added.
