3 killed in Patenga blast

At least three people were killed in an explosion at Patenga area in Chattogram on Wednesday.
The incident took place at Patenga Intraco Container Depot around 11:45am, said police.
Confirming the matter to Jago News, Ali Akbar, Deputy Assistant Director of Chittagong Fire Service and Civil Defense, said, four vehicles of the service were sent to the spot. The fire is now under control.
A reliable source told Jago News that, the incident occurred after a fire broke out at a tanker during welding work at the garage of the container depot. Three people were burnt to death on the spot and three others injured.
