2 held with foreign pistols in Benapole

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two people along with two foreign made pistols, four magazines from Ghiba village under Beanpole port police station on Monday morning.

Major Abdullah Al Mehedi, commanding officer of Rab-6, said tipped off a team of elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested Kutub Uddin, 39, son of Fazlur Rahman, and Abdul Momin, 40, son of Roushon Ali, both residents of the village, when they were trying to sell arms.

Rab members also recovered two foreign made pistols and four magazines from their possession.
