Daulatpur OC dies from coronavirus

A police officer died from coronavirus at a hospital in the capital on Wednesday night. 

The deceased is SM Arifur Rahman, 45, officer-in-charge of Daulatpur Police Station in Kushtia. 

He breathed his last at Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital around 9:45pm.

Mustafizur Rahman, Additional Superintendent of Kushtia, confirmed the death to Jago News. 

According to police, Arifur tested positive for coronavirus on August 10. He was brought to Dhaka and admitted to the hospital on August 15.
