Pick up van kills a couple

A couple has been killed as a pickup van hit a motorbike carrying them at Fakirhat on Bagerhat-Mawa highway in Bagerhat on Monday morning.

The deceased’s are Sujit Das, 40 and his wife Sumita Das, 30. Sujit was a worker of Dubai Bangladesh Cement Factory in Mongla.

According to source, Sujit Das along with his wife was going to father-in-law home from Fakirhat by motorcycle. The couple came under accident when a pickup van hit them. Sujit and Sumita killed on the spot. The police seized the pickup van.
