Sculptor Mrinal Haque passes away

Renowned sculptor Mrinal Haque has passed away at a hospital in the capital. He was 62. 

He breathed his last at Evercare Hospital around 2am on Saturday, a source from the hospital confirmed his death to Jago News.  

He was suffering from various old-age complications including diabetes. 

Born on September 9, 1958, the sculptor was best known for making murals on the city streets of Dhaka.

State Minister for Culture KM Khalid MP has expressed deep grief over the death of renowned sculptor Mrinal Haque.
