Four of a family killed as bus rams auto-rickshaw

Four members of a family were killed in a fatal road accident on the Dhaka-Tangail highway in Tangail on Friday afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Md Al-Amin, headmaster of Bhadrashimul Dakshin Government Primary School, Bhuiyanpur upazila, Shiuli Khatun, his wife and headmaster of Kukadair Government Primary School, and his parents- Sohrab and Saleha. 

His sister received injuries in the incident was admitted to Tangail General Hospital.

Elenga Highway Police Station in-charge Md Kamal Hossain said a bus rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Rabna By-pass area, leaving five passengers and driver of the latter seriously injured.

They were rushed to Tangail General Hospital where four died, the police official said.
