Zafrullah sued for allegedly defaming Hindu religion

A case has been filed against Gonoshasthaya Kendra (GK) founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury for allegedly making derogatory remarks against Hindu religion and its god Ram.  

A journalist named Biplob Partha filed the case at the court of Chattogram Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Abu Salem Mohammad Noman on Wednesday. 

Journalist Biplob told Jago News that, Dr Zafrullah recently made a derogatory remarks against Hindu religion and its god Ram which has hurt the minds of millions of followers of the religion in the country.  

The court will give a verdict in the case, he added.
