8 of a family killed in Mymensingh road accident

Eight members of a family were killed in a road accident in Phulpur upazila of Mymensingh on Tuesday morning.

One child, five women and two men are among the deceased. 

Pannat, Deputy Director of Mymensingh Fire Service, confirmed the incident to Jago News.  

According to source, a microbus with 14 passengers on board was going to Nalitabari in Sherpur from Bhaluka in Mymensingh. The vehicle lost its control and plunged into a roadside pond when it reached Bashati area in Phulpur around 7am. 

On information, fire service rushed to the spot and recovered five bodies from the spot. Two people were also recovered alive.
