PM mourns death of eminent artist Murtaza Bashir

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of noted artist Murtaza Bashir, an awardee of the Ekushey Padak, reports BSS.
In a message of condolence, the premier said, “The contribution made by Murtuza Bashir for development of the country’s fine arts will inspire the future generations.”
She prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Murtaza breathed his last at the intensive care unit (ICU) of a city hospital this morning.
