3 of a family among 4 killed in Kurigram road accident

Four people including three of a family were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Kurigram on Thursday morning. 

According to source, Social Service officer Akbar Hossen along with his family members were going to his hometown Kurigram from Narsingdi by a private car. When the vehicle reached RDS Bazar area in Kurigram sadar upazila around 8:30am, a bus collided head-on with it, leaving four people dead on the spot and two others injured. Akbar, his wife and his one child and an assistant of the vehicle’s driver died. Apart from, Akbar’s another child and driver of the vehicle were critically injured.

Redwan Ferdous Sajeeb, Residence Medical Officer of Kurigram General Hospital, confirmed the deaths to Jago News.
