College student hacked to death

A college student was hacked to death at Deerghbhumi village of Brahmamnpara upazila in Comilla on Saturday night.

The victim is Ariful Islam Sujon 18, second year student of Mosharrof Hossain Khan Chowdhury Degree College.

According to family sources, miscreants hacked Sujon while he was going to upazila sadar from his home around 10:30pm, leaving him critically injured.

Hearing Sujon’s screaming, locals rescued him and sent to Comilla Medical College and Hospital where he died at mid night.

SM Bodiuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Brahmanpara Police Station, confirmed the matter.
