Parents of Mashrafe also contract coronavirus
After he had contracted the novel coronavirus, now parents of the cricketer-turned-politician Mashrafe Bin Mortaza have tested positive for the virus.
Besides, two other relatives of the former Bangladesh skipper and Narail-2 lawmaker also caught the virus, Narail civil surgeon Dr Abdul Momen confirmed on Saturday morning.
Test results of the four- Mashrafe's father Golam Mortaza Swapan, mother Hamida Mortaza, aunt Kamrun Nahar and younger brother wife Sumaya came out positive on Friday night after they had given samples on Thursday, he said.
Earlier, Mashrafe, his wife Sumona Haque Sumi and younger brother Mursalin were infected with the deadly virus.
Narail Express Foundation vice-president Shamimul Islam said the infected all are taking treatment at home in Narail and doing well.
