Bangladesh won't go into conflict with Malaysia over Rayhan Kabir issue
Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmad has said Bangladesh won't go into conflict with Malaysia over stripping of a Bangladeshi national's work permit.
"We will impair diplomatic relationship or go into conflict following one's work permit is scrapped, this is wrong. Everything has a process," he said.
Malaysia has recently revoked work permit of Bangladeshi migrant Rayhan Kabir following he in a interview with Al Jazeera talked about misbehavour happed with migrants in the country.
In this regard, the minister made the comment on Thursday while talking to Jago News.
He also urged the expatriates to comply with law of the country where he stays.
"We heard a Bangladeshi national's work permit was cancelled in Malaysia for interviewing with a television. I want to tell all expatriates, you abide by law of the country where you work," Imran said.
But Bangladesh will discuss the matter in diplomatic level if such situation creates, the minister also said.
