Police arrests 21 drug dealers from city

Members of police arrested 21 alleged drug peddlers from different parts of the capital during an anti-narcotic special drives from Tuesday evening till Wednesday early morning.

Sources of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) members of DMP conducted routine an anti-narcotic special operations in different areas of Lalbagh, Matijheel, Ramna, Wari, Mirpur, Tejgaon and Gulshan police station and arrested 21 drug peddlers.

During the drives, police also recovered 215 pieces of Yaba, 60 grams heroin, one kg 750 grams of hemp.

Cases were filed against the arrestees under Narcotics Control Act 1990 with different police stations of the capital.
