Stern action against assassins: PM

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said we had been able to trail the culprits who committed anti-humanity crime during the liberation war in 1971. The stern action will also be taken against assassins.

The premier said this on Wednesday while replying to a query by a lawmaker at Jatiya Sangsad.

Sheikh Hasina said, BNP-Jamaat introduced the country as a world champion in corruption and militancy when they were in power. They also killed general people as the name of agitation.

The prime minister said they had secretly killed people in mosques, temples, pagodas, and teachers of universities and now they made the family member of a police officer victim.

As the law enforcers had been able to arrest many of the killers, the PM assured her JS colleagues that the rest of the murderers will surely be arrested.

The secret killers and their masters will not be spared, Sheikh Hasina said.
