School teacher hacked to death in Tangail

Miscreants hacked a school teacher to death at Ajagana union in Mirzapur upazila of Tangail district on Tuesday night.

Officer-in charge of Mirzapur Police Station (Investigation) Md Tuhin Khan said, miscreants stormed into the house of Abu Syed Nuru, known as Nuru Master, 70, and hit on his head with sharp weapon on Tuesday night while he was sleeping, leaving him to dead on spot.

On Wednesday morning, his wife found the body in the pond of blood and called the neighbors.

On information, police rushed in the spot, recovered the body and sent the body to morgue for autopsy.
