Magistrate Sarwar Alam wins battle against coronavirus

Sarwar Alam, the executive magistrate of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), and his wife both have recovered from the novel coronavirus.

Sarwar Alam himself confirmed his and his wife's recovery on Wednesday.

"By grace of Allah and with prayers of all, I got rid of COVID-19. My gratitude to all of you," Sarwar said.

Earlier June 7, the couple tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

Sarwar Alam has been worked to make people maintain quarantine and social distancing, and conducted drives against sale of fake face masks and gloves since the outbreak began in the country.
