Over 600 Ansar members catch coronavirus

A total of 604 members of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defence Party (Ansar-VDP) have been infected with coronavirus, with nine more caught the disease in the past 24 hours.
Of them, 328 made recovery, the force's headquarters said on Tuesday.
Besides maintaining law and order, they contracted the lethal virus while performing duties as frontliners in fighting against the pathogen, said the force's deputy director (communication) Mehenaz Tabassum Rebin.
