BNP MP Harun attends JS session wearing “Mujib Coat”

BNP lawmaker from Chapainawabganj-3 constituency Harunur Rashid today attended the budget session at Jatiya Sangsad wearing a “Muib Coat”, a distinctive, black sleeveless jacket named after Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who wore it when addressing political rallies.

The budget session for the fiscal year 2020-21 began with speaker Shirin Sharmin in the chair at 11am after a 7-day break.

However, all the lawmakers and ministers didn’t attend to the ongoing budget session of 11th parliament as only the coronavirus negative lawmakers are allowed to attend there.

The budget session began on 10 June amid the coronavirus pandemic in the country. Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal placed the budget at Jatiya Sangsad (JS) on June 11.
