France shocked at killings of innocent Bangladeshi people
France has expressed deep shock at the killings of innocent people in Bangladesh, including Hindu priest Anando Gopal Ganguly who was hacked to death in Jhenidah district.
‘These killings, like all the other killings of innocent Bangladeshi citizens, have nothing to see with the Bangladesh we know and we love,’ said the France Embassy here in a statement on Tuesday.
The Embassy conveyed its condolences to the families of the victims saying the Embassy of France is ‘deeply shocked and saddened’ by the murders of Christian grocer Sunil Gomez in Natore district, Mahmuda Akhter, wife of a police officer, in Chittagong, and Hindu priest Ganguly in Jhenidah.
