VP Nur files GD seeking security
Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) vice president Nurul Haque Nur has lodged a general diary with Shahbagh Police Station seeking security of his life.
The police station officer in-charge Abul Hasan confirmed the matter to Jago News on Wednesday.
Nur said a caller from number 01625-991576 threatened him to kill on Tuesday. Since then, he feel insecure that led him to file the complaint, quoting Nur, OC Abul said.
In the GD, VP Nur said, "Someone from an unknown number gave me and my organization's 40-45 leaders and activists life threat opposing my plans to establish a political party," the OC said.
Nur also claimed in the complaint, "Those previously attacked me all were rulling party men but no one had to face justice. I think the government party has link to this threat made to me," the police official added.
