The handout said a news on Shamima Begum has drew attention of Foreign Ministry. It came to know by massmedia that she left the UK, aged 15, to join the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in Syria. Following this, the UK government scrapped her citizenship.

Then she moved the country's High Court, and Special Immigration Appeals Commission against the decision but the courts rejected her plea and mentioned her as Bangladeshi citizen.
