Cumilla city's 4 wards put on lockdown
Four wards under Cumilla City Corporation have been marked as red zones and put those on lockdown to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Ward no. 3, 10, 12 and 13 will stay under lockdown from June 19 to July 3.
The district coronavirus prevention committee adviser and lawmaker Haji AKM Bahauddin Bahar made the announcement after a meeting of the committee on Tuesday.
MP Bahar said no one under the areas can come out of home during the restrictions except emergency need.
Cumilla deputy commissioner Md Abul Fazal presided over the meeting while police superintendent Syed Nurul Islam, among others, was present.
