Fatullah Police Station OC contracts coronavirus

Aslam Hossain, officer in-charge of Fatullah Model Police Station, Narayanganj has been infected with coronavirus.

He tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, on Monday.

Mehedi Imran Siddiqui, additional superintendent of Narayanganj Police, confirmed the matter, adding that the OC is now doing well and maintaining isolation at the police station.

Imran Siddiqui said 173 police members, including Aslam, caught the deadly virus in the district as of Monday.

Out of them, 101 made recovery, and 43 are now undergoing treatment, and the rest taking treatment at home.
