Suhrawardy hospital director catches Covid-19

Professor Dr Uttam Kumar Barua, the director of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital, has been infected with coronavirus.

He tested positive for COVID-19, the disease caused by novel coronavirus, six days ago, and had been taking treatment at home.

But on Sunday morning he got admitted to the hospital after he fell sick, Dr Uttam told Jago News at night.

Asked about his present physical condition, he said, "I have no any symptom but fever, and as per CT scan test I have bilateral pneumonia."
