Minister Mozammel, wife admitted to CMH

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque and his wife Laila Arjumand Banu, who tested positive for coronavirus, were admitted to Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday night.

Sufi Abdullahil Maruf, Public Relations Officer of Liberation War Affairs Ministry, confirmed the matter to Jago News.

He said, they were receiving treatment at home after being infected with coronavirus.

On Friday, Mozammel Huque and his wife Laila Arzumand tested coronavirus positive. The minister’s private secretary Habibur Rahman had also tested coronavirus positive.

Earlier, Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing was admitted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on June 7 after he was tested coronavirus positive at Cox’s Bazar Medical College and Hospital.
