Nothing to fear, when death is settled: PM
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said she was not afraid of coronavirus rather has been working for the country's sake, and keeping people's livelihood normal amid the pandemic.
"There is nothing to fear when the death is settled. I did not get fear and will never be afraid. Allah gave me life and one day will take back so," she said.
The premier said this after opposition chief whip Mashiur Rahman Ranga expressed his worriedness about her as she took part in the parliament session on Wednesday amid the virus outbreak.
About her government's steps for the people who lost jobs due to the coronavirus situation, she said, "We have reached food the houses of the jobless people. Even we aided the people who paint behind rickshaw, and cultural workers."
Mentioning the government's efforts to keep people's livelihood normal, PM Hasina said, "We will continue fight against deadly the virus, and will also do what necessary to restore normal livelihood of my country people."
