Corona infected CHT Affairs Minister brought to Dhaka

Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, who tested positive for coronavirus, was brought to Dhaka on a helicopter on Sunday.
He will be admitted to Combined Military Hospital in the capital.
A helicopter of Bangladesh Air Force carrying him took off from Bandarban cantonment around 11:15am and landed in Dhaka at 12:45pm.
On Saturday, Cox’s Bazar Medical College Principal Dr Anupom Barua had confirmed that the CHT Affairs minister tested positive for Covid-19.
The minister might have contracted the virus as he had attended several programmes during Eid-ul-Fitr and came to contact with mass people while distributing reliefs and other things.
Bangladesh has so far confirmed 63,026 coronavirus cases and 846 deaths.
