Mostafa Kamal resigns as Kaler Kantho acting editor

Noted litterateur and journalist Mostafa Kamal has resigned as the acting editor of the Daily Kaler Kantho.

He decided to step down in personal reason, he told Jago News on Tuesday.

Mostafa Kamal was made acting editor of the daily in September last year. Earlier, he served the daily as executive editor for around eight years.

Before joining Kaler Kantho, he worked with the Daily Prothom Alo as its special correspondent.

As a litterateur, Kamal wrote 105 books, including popular ones-- Agnikanya, Agnipurush, Janani etc.
