Motorbike used by killers of SP’s wife recovered

The motorcycle used by the killers of police officer Babul Akter’s wife was found abandoned in Badurtala area of Chittagong.

The Panchlaish police said police recovered the motorcycle from a garage in the area early Monday.

Officer-in-charge (investigation) of Panchlaish Police Station Giaus Uddin confirmed the matter.

He said, on information police recovered the motorcycle and it was taken to Detective office.

The Panchlaish police Officer-in-charge Tri Ratan Barua filed the case naming three people as accused at night.

Earlier, unidentified miscreants gunned down Mahmuda Khanam at GEC intersection in Chittagong on Sunday morning while she went there to drop her 7-year-old son Mahir Akhter for a bus to Chittagong Cantonment Public School and College.
