First Eid jamaat held at Baitul Mukarram
The first Eid congregation was held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 7am on Monday.
Hafez Mufti Mawlana Mizanur Rahman, senior imam of the mosque, conducted the first jammat.
The second Eid jamaat was held at 8am and third one was held at 9am.
Maulana Mahiuddin Kashem will conduct the fourth jamaat which is to be held at 10am.
The fifth and last Eid jamaat, conducted by Islamic Foundation Muhaddis Hafez Maulana Waliur Rahman Khan, will be held at 10:45am.
Every year, the city corporations and district administrations organize central Eid prayer in all the districts of the country.
But this year, government authorities will not organize Eid prayers on open grounds to stop the spread of coronavirus.
