80 media workers catch coronavirus in Bangladesh

Five more media workers have been infected with COVID-19, taking the number of coronavirus-positive ones to 80.
The newly infected work with the Daily Ittefaq. Earlier, two staff of the daily tested positive for the deadly virus.
A journalist of Daily Somoyer Alo died from the novel coronavirus while two mediamen passed away with the virus symptoms.
As of Friday, 13 journalists recovered from the virus.
Bangladesh confirmed its first COVID-19 cases on March 8, and since then it has been seeing hike in the number of infections and deaths.
Today the country recorded 709 coronavirus patients, taking the total to 13,134, and total deaths 206.
