Man shot dead in Feni polling violence

A man gunned down and seven others injured as miscreants opened fire and exploded crude bombs at a polling centre in Sonagazi upazila of Feni on Saturday.

The deceased was could not be identified yet.

Witnesses said miscreants opened fire and blasted bombs at Char Bhairab Haji Tofayel Ahmed High School polling center around 10 am, leaving one shot dead and seven others including police and ansar injured.

Voting at the center remains suspended following the attack.

District Commissioner and Superintendent of Police visited the center after the attack.
