BTV Director General, wife test positive for coronavirus

Director General of Bangladesh Television (BTV) S M Harun-ur-Rashid and his wife have been infected with coronavirus.
They tested positive for the virus on Sunday, a reliable source of BTV confirmed the information to Jago News.
The staffs of BTV who were in touch with its Director General have been sent to home quarantine. Hence, some pre-scheduled programmes of BTV have been cancelled.
As of Sunday, 54 journalists have been infected with coronavirus. Of them one journalist has died and eleven have recovered from the disease.
Journalists of Independent TV, Jamuna TV, Deepto TV, ATN News, Ekattor TV, Bangladesher Khabor, Dainik Sangram, Bhorer Kagoj, Prothom Alo and Alokito Bangladesh are among the cured patients.
