First coronavirus case reported in Satkhira

A health worker has become the first person in Satkhira to contract the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
A medical technologist at Sharsha Upazila Health Complex in Jashore, the patient is now taking treatment from home in Satkhira town.
Satkhira Sadar Hospital physician Jayanta Kumar confirmed that the man tested positive for the deadly virus on Sunday morning.
Coronavirus spread to about all districts of Bangladesh since the country first confirmed its cases of the deadly virus on March 8.
Some 5,416 people contracted the novel coronavirus and 145 died from the virus in the country as of Sunday.
