164 stranded Bangladeshis return from India
Hundred and sixty-four Bangladeshis, who were stranded in India for over a month, returned home on Monday afternoon.
A special chartered flight of US-Bangla Airlines carrying the passengers landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3:48pm from Chennai.
Kamrul Islam, general manager (public relations) of the airlines, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
US-Bangla Airlines is scheduled to operate five more special flights till April 25 from Kolkata and Chennai to bring back other Bangladeshis who are stranded in India.
