First seven coronavirus cases detected in Dinajpur

First seven cases of the novel coronavirus have been detected in Dinajpur.

Of them, three are from sadar upazila, three from Nawabganj upazila and one from Fulbari upazila.

Civil Surgeon of the district Dr Abdul Kuddus confirmed the cases to Jago News on Tuesday evening.

He said, fifteen people from five districts in Rangpur division tested positive for the coronavirus. Of them, seven are from Dinajpur.

In this connection, Deputy Commissioner of Dinajpur Md Mahmudul Alam, said: “We are holding a meeting and will take decision after it.”
