9 Tabligh Jamaat members quarantined in Jashore
Nine members of Tabligh Jamaat were sent to quarantine at a school in Jashore Sadar upazila on Tuesday, reports UNB.
Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Abu Shahid said the nine men, residents of Bhaturia village in the upazila, went to a religious gathering in Sylhet several days ago.
They returned home after completing their programme.
On information, the local administration sent them to quarantine at Bhaturia collegiate schoolroom to avoid the risk of coronavirus infection.
Besides, two more day labourers were also sent to quarantine.
All of them will get food supplies during the 14-day quarantine period, the official added.
